Josh White - Lonesome Road
A Master of the country/folk/blues style Josh White presents a selection of cuts which personify the melding of blues and American folk and country music. With a carreer spanning five decades (1920's onward) Josh White's many achievements include him being hailed as a top political folk singer and making appearances for President Roosevelt at the Whitehouse. He later became well known for his "Cafe Society" performances and enjoyed further succsess during the early sixties folk revival.
